Here is the question people ask when I mention mobile is important; “Really - now I need a mobile website too - doesn’t this just automatically happen?”
So, first, is mobile Important?
You already know the answer to this - “of course it is, you say. It’s just one more place I need to be; just like Facebook, and LinkedIn, and Yelp, blah.blah, blah… “ Read More.
Pinterest is such a no-brainer and easy site to use that it is unusual for me to not recommend to my clients that they have a presence on Pinterest and post there. If you are already posting other places, like Facebook as an example, it takes just 5 minutes more to add the same post to Pinterest, so why not?
Actually pinterest is a much-overlooked and maligned social media platform.
You don’t really hate Yelp, right? What you probably don’t like about Yelp is the possibility of getting a bad review posted to Yelp that you have no way of controlling. And it might not even be anywhere near true. Am I right?
Being found online when someone searches for what you offer, products or services, is certainly desirable, particularly coming up on page 1 or 2 of search results. And of course, the goal is to have this happen without paying for an ad.
Facebook has made it a lot harder for businesses to get visibility for their posts without paying. They have done this by tweaking the algorithm that determines what your friends and followers see in their newsfeed.
